The Chelmsford Families group is a local branch of the British Doctors and Dentists Families Group. The group meets once a month, at the same time as, but totally independent from, the Doctors and Dentists Group.

The group is open to partners, relatives and close friends of doctors and dentists with problems of chemical dependency. The aim of the group is to support those suffering from the effects of, or recovering from, the family illness associated with chemical dependency. We do this by providing a safe environment where life experiences, knowledge and hope can be shared with total confidentiality in a non-judgemental atmosphere.

Our own situations and those of our families can be improved enormously through mutual support, acceptance and sharing. There is no need to feel isolated and alone: help and support are available.
